The U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today reported seasonally adjusted annual sales of 1.069 million new single-family houses in November 2002.
That figure was a 5.7 percent increase compared with the revised October rate of 1.011 million new houses and a 14 percent increase compared with the November 2001 estimate of 938,000 new houses sold.
